I have 84 Maro with a 350 which was pulled out of a 1975 Vette. Now realizing that the 70's engines were very restricted mainly because of Cats and the smog equpiment I removed it all. Put on a bigger carb (700cfm) manual choke, 1 5/8 headers, total aftermarket exhaust but when I go to the strip I open up the cutout. I also have put on an Edelbrock Performer intake manifold. With these modifications what will I run? Do you guys think a high 14 is possible? I also would like to know what you think my next modification should be so that I can further improve my 1/4 times. My options are getting a set of AFRs and swaping in a cam. Or i could go with a 383 stroker for $1300 and mod that out.

hmmmmm, stroker.
big inches = big torque. if you can make the car hook it up a big torque motor is the way to go. that woudl definately be my first choice.
