l was pretty impressed with the times, l'm shooting for mid 12's by the end of the season, l might try using an edelbrock air-gap manifold, I've got hoosier slicks, and yesterday I installed a set of 50/50 Lakewood rears.

I bolted the slicks up about 3 runs after the street tires, and l was able to produce better 60 ft times, but unable to make up for it as far as trap and ET's. ironically l made the fastest run on street tires, rather than slicks.

 

That's funny, my GT II's don't hook up for nothin. My 60-foots are usually around 2.1-2.2.

 

i was also surprised, l had some wheel hop, but it took off out of the hole really strong, not much spin, but a little hop. l could even come out at about 13-1500 RPMs on the eagles, on the slicks, however l was able to launch more at about 2 without a bit of hop or spin whatsoever.
