I find it amazing that these cars still take more natioanl trophies than any other car in it's class. New Mustangs and recent Cobras can't compete. LT1 and LS1 4th gen are only somewhat competitive...

I sold my 88 IROC for an LS1 4th gen and I continually question that decision....

Sam Strano *might* even be moving up to the top spot in ESP. The car Tom Berry drove (LT4 Camaro SS) was protested after Tuesday's runs and the protest was upheld, but they appealed. Great drives by the 3rd-genners nonetheless.

It's also amazing in FS that the tired ol' 3rd-gens are still up there with the LT1/LS1 F Bodies and newer Mustangs.

I have already talked to my wife. My plan over the next year or two is to buy another L98 3rd gen. ...and I am allowed to keep my LS1!!! She has seen how unhappy I have been since the IROC went. *** bless her.

Re: Third Gens Dominate SCCA Solo II National Championship Again!

I found out yesterday the appeal on the Tom Berry/Steve Equina car was denied, so Sam Strano is the new national champ.

LT4, LT1, LS1 ... all bow down to the mighty L98! :hail:
