Say it isn`t so
I was having a disagreement with my buddy the other day over
what my car should run in the quarter mile.He says low 14`s
at best.I am running a 350 with dart sportsman II heads and
intake crane h-272 cam(216int,228exh.@50,.454 int.,.480exh.)
750 holley,hedman shorty headers,true duals, a corvette converter , a 3.73 gear and a hoosier tire.I will be ashamed if I get beat by his Mustang LX with only pulleys, gears and a

Hmmm the only way I think you'll get beat is if your running on 7 cylinders...Seriously though if your car is tuned right it should be a high to mid 13 sec. car depending on traction.
If those heads are out of the box they are begging for a little bowl blending....they respond very well to it. I also think a 650 would work better in your situation and provide much better throttle response and torque.
