is a 91 305 tpi

stronger STOCK then the 85-89 L98's??????

i know that the 305 and 350's got stronger as years went on but did the 305 TPI ever become more powerful then a L98 in the third gen's???

when matched up with a 5 speed it comes pretty close to the horse power numbers however the advantage of the L98 is torque...

well the 91-92 lb9 was 230 horse and the 87 l98 was 210...

but year for year the l98 made more torque and the hp was a little more then the lb9..

i can see were this thread will go...im sure more guys will to lol

L98's started in 87 (technically) with 220 hp....a 91-92 LB9 G92 car will gibe on of these a run, but like stated previuosly, the torque of the L98 gives it the edge...
