1/4 mile estimates

k im just about finishing up my TPI to carb swap and i was wondering what kinds of times i should be expecting. the list of mods n such are as follows:

350 bored .030 over (355ci)
9.5:1 CR speed pro hypereutectic pistons
edelbrock peformer rpm aluminum heads 64cc
edelbrock performer rpm air gap intake manifold
edelbrock 750cfm carb
mallory afpr
1.5 aluminum roller rockers
ZZ4 cam - .208/.221 .474"/.510"
hedman 1 5/8 shorty headers
2 chamber flowmaster
no cats
MSD pro billet distributor
MSD blaster 3 coil
Accel 8mm wires
700R4 w/ vette servo and vette stall
3.27's in the rear
and a new set of bushings all around
(more suspension mods to come towards ending of summer)

so what do you guys think?


heres a picture of whats been done so far....oh and yes, on the bottom left hand corner of the picture is the bracket where my s-trim used to be....oh the memories....

looks nice, i am guessing low to mid 13's, depending on traction also.

I'm going to go with 13.5 . I'd say ditch that Edelcrap carb Never had any luck with mine.

thanks for the reply guys. i too was thinking mid 13's but im really hoping for some low 13s. i dont plan on changing the carb for a long time because i pratically got the carb for a case of beer =). anyway, next on my list of mods are some gears and a bigger cam. hopefully all within the next month or so. go go tax returns!

I went from 13.7 to 12.93 swapping off my edelbrock performer 600.

I agree with Mark, get rid of that carb. Also I think you do need to get that bigger cam. You do those two things I think you'll see 12's fairly easily. BTW nice SS!
