Pressures in each air bag?????
Please click the link below to skim over my Camaro's specs. On Tuesday my air bags will be here and on Wednesday my shocks will arrive (Suymmit 3-way adjustable drag shocks - they are gonna be on the 50/50 setting), so Wednesday night I will be installing both of those. I know that the pressures in each of the air bags should be different and that I will have to play with the setup myself, but I would really appreciate some general rules about them. What should I start out with in each bag? Is there any difference I should maintain between the two (like always 10 psi apart or something like that)? Whats the minimum and maximum I should go? Mainly I am looking for some general rules of thumb as well as good information about them.
Thanks,
Brady

Good lord lots of things will play into this mix, so as you said it's gonna take some play, a good place to start would be 2-3 pounds in the drivers side to make the bag keep composure and possibly 4-6 to start in the pass. side and see how it likes it. Really no rule of thumb that I know of, just plain trial and error to see what it takes to get a even launch.

20-30 is way too much. When I still used 2 air bags I had the passenger side up to 25 psi for a while. When I finally pulled it out, the bag was extremely stretched out. That bag now sits on the shelf and I put the driver's side bag on the passenger side.
The most you should have to put in the passenger side bag is 15 psi. If you also use a drivers side bag, start with 5 psi in that one.
It's a tuning aid so air pressures will vary from car to car. I normally try to keep 10 psi in the passenger side bag.
This is all assuming you're using the standard Airlift red plastic air bags. I'm not aware of any other kits available for third gens.

Thanks for the advice guys. I know I will have to play with it, and I guess Friday's TNT will help me with that. I am going to take Stephen's advice and start out with 5psi in the driver's side bag and somewhere around 12psi probably in the passenger's side bag.
Stephen, I purchased the Air Lift kit for 82-98 Camaros, part number 60897. Any advice on where/how to run the lines?
Thanks,
Brady

I ran mine through the frame rails and mounted the fill valves in the rear bumper. An ultimate setup would have a low pressure gauge(s) visable somewhere so you could see at a glance what the air pressure is.
