valve springage....
well my valve springs finally succumbed to the power of the large by huge cam......
the car has been down on power for about 2 weeks, as i had lost about 5mph of trap speed, but the car was still consistant and ran ok...
so i was pretty sure it was the springs, so ordered a new set of comp springs and some new ARP rocker studs
the old springs were a GOOD 3/16" shorter than the old ones.....
they got their will to live ruined finally....
throttle is nice and snappy again though, time to get it back to the track/dyno and see

Unfortunately with these solid rollers and all their seat pressure a yearly spring change is a MUST for tip top performance and depending how many rounds you go and tracks you run, twice a year is another good idea. I've personally seen a set of springs pick a car up .3 and the pressure was not all that far off from when the springs were new.
