first time at the track....times!!!!!!! just a 305 too
well considering its only a 305 and this was my first time im pretty happy. best run was 9.447 at 72.94. the reaction time was .279 and a 60 ft of 2.289. i cant really better those numbers at least not til i get some slicks and learn to drive cause I MISSED THIRD on that run!!!!!!!!!! if i would have hit third then i should have been low 9.3's if not 9.2's easy! my highest trap of the night was 78.13.
so im happy overall, who knows what shell do next and now i have something to compare to when i drop in the 383
btw what does 9.447 translate to in the 1/4th?

yea im gald someone said that formula. thats handy to know. and if i would have hit third on that run instead of missing it then going to fourh gear i KNOW i would run at least 9.25 so im gonna just say i have a 14.43 second car. hopefully i will be able to drop into the high 8's with some more practice so i can actually react quickly to these lights and be able to get off the line right without all this tire spinning. to help ill probably go grab a set of junkyard steelies and throw some slicks on them.

I wouldn't call it a 14.4 car until you run a 14.4...
According to my 1/8 times my car is a 12.3 @ 108 car, but for some reason it is losing a bunch in the top end. You never know whats gonna happen when you hit the 1/4. Just say it ran 9.44 missing a gear and people will know its quick!
