What will I run?

In about a month I'm doing a swap from a stock 305 to a 350 with S/R Torker heads, a mild lunati voodoo cam, edelbrock catback exhaust, k&N filter, Bosch Plat 2's, and bosch wires. The suspension is gonna be stock for now. I'm in louisiana...about what kind of time would I get in a 1/4?

well i could give you a half *** response like 13-14s but, if you want something worth having you will have to tell us the following

What exact cam grind? (super important)
info on heads, runner size ported/unported, valve sizing?
What kind of manifold?(important)
what kind of induction?
Any nos or other forced induction?(very important)
what compression ratio? (very important)
What headers if any (better be if you're smart)(very important)
what size catback, mandrel or non mandrel bent (if duals true duals or no)?
what ratio rear gears?
manual or auto (if manual what clutch if auto is it stock?)
what tranny stall if any?
posi or no posi?

That's the main stuff that would give us something to work with for a good educated guess.

sorry I don't really know everything yet cuz my dad is building the engine. I know there's gonna be no nos, no headers yet, 3 inch catback mandrel bent, no tranny stall, posi I think (it's the one where one wheel spins), it's auto, has the stock ram air induction, the gear ratio is stock so it's whatever came on my 91 rs.

I don't know much about the heads...all I know is I read they are suppose to give about a 30 hp gain, and I don't know about manifolds. I'm not the most educated on this stuff yet Oh and the exhaust is not true dual. Sorry about the lack of info on the first post, hope this helps a little bit.

Why not get headers when you do the swap. You can get a set of hedmans for 140 or so.

What part of LA you live in?? Do you go to No Problem to race??

I live in northern la. And as far as racing goes I've never done anything but raced a few friends.

I am gonna get headers I just have to get some money first. I was gonna go with headman or hooker.

edelbrock headers are some of the worst headers on the market, i'd rather run heddman's than those. Hookers or SLP are the way to go unless you're running long tubes.

Why does edelbrock suck?

because the headers neck down to smaller than 2.5" near the collector for the y-pipe, plus for how much they cost you can get much nicer headers for cheaper.
