350 tpi into the 13's ???
I am possibly getting a 92 firebird that has a 350 tpi ( 2k miles on engine) swap. The car has a 700r4 trans and all the suspention and rear is factory. The engine has the following mods - 350 flat-tappet tpi, stock heads with 3 angle valve job, Comp XE268H cam - 268/280 .477/.480 114cl, 24 lbs injectors, crane afpr, accel cap and rotor, slp cai, and hooker shorties with exhaust cutout. Could I get a high 13 out of this car with a decent 60 ?

cam is good
is the tune good tho? is it a mass air flow sensor 350 TPI swap or speed density??
thats whats gonna make it
i seen alot of guys on this board have cams and bolt ons and only doing 101-103mph.
i'm at 100.9 with just headers/catback with 2800stall on my L98
the tune needs to be all good to get the most out of the combo.
take it to the track and practice gettin some good launches. if the car simply cant hook well, try gettin some LCA's and relocation brackets. that will help some.
then if your tires suck, get better ones. once u do that, you can afford to upgrade the stock converter to something in the 2600-2800 range
