Ok,I have an 89 t/a ws6.I want this thing to hold corners like a racecar and would like to try some autocross events.I have a pro kit and Bilstein hd's,18" wheels, adjustable Spohn lca's,adjustable panhard.I am going to be picking up some Spohn sfc's to.When I do my 350 swap next winter I will be adding a tubular K member, and A arms. I know the subject has been beat to death but I would like more info on adding to the setup I already have.I live in the mountains and drive winding mountain roads everyday.

sounds like a really good setup and the only thing i would add to that would be polyurethane bushings on everything. it will make the car feel better than new.

you got it covered it seems...after all that stuff is on, a GOOD alignment is a must for optimum results.

Sounds like you're off to a nice suspension start Steve.
Not sure about those wheels though.
I think auto-x's prefer lightweight smaller rims, not sure.
Pretty much have the same setup as me with diff. brands along with the WS6.
Definitely an alignment needed, and reloc. brackets to correct the geometry after lowering.
There are front end rebuild kits and the poly bushings as mentioned too.

I am ordering my relocators when we get back from Florida and will have'em welded to the new rear. The rims will stay as I don't see them making that big of a difference for what I will use it for.I still need to ride in your car to see how the sfc's feel.

I just bought all 4 Falken FK451's.Don't know how they are for autocross but I have had no traction problems with these tires at all,I have made some aggressive moves with them on this car and my old mustang.I just ordered my TDS wonder bar today.

my ride is extremely stiff with the sum of all the parts, not just the SFC's, but the front end could use some nice replacement items to kill some more creaks.
i'll do the STB/Wonderbar/centerlink/idler arm rebuild stuff later.
i've never auto-x'd, but i would think she'd hold up well after the front end suspension is taken care of.

If i remember right 17s is one of the best sizes for road racing, and you also want lo profile tires so you dont have so much sidewall flex when you turn.
