So I was standing there welding the driver's side bracket on having a good time. Little bit of wire burnt off sticking off the side so I went to brush it off like I've done before. Guess I should have waited a few seconds more after the wire stopped glowing red hot. Poked a hole right through the leather welding glove right through the tip of my finger cauterizing it so no blood came out. Now I have a small tunnel through the tip of my middle finger
Other than that, it's not going too bad. Looks like I'll be taking the backing plate off to get to one more weld. Can't wait to try these things out at the track

I see a new wave of body piercing sweeping the nation!
Be sure to post up results... I'm very curious.
Will this be the only change since last time? I've always wanted to see results from someone who didn't change other things than just the lca brackets.

Changes from last year are a new fuel system and some weight reduction, think I've taken out only about 30 lbs. Oh and I got some Weld Pro Star rims for the rear only so far, they're 35 lbs with the Hoosier 26x11.50's mounted. I can always go from the stock location and then try the other 2 positions at the track, not hard to do so may try that. First run it will be in the stock location since I'll have a passenger and don't want any surprises. Even though it's only going to be a half track pass, she's been waiting forever to go for a ride

sits and waits patiently for results!!!!
Right now I'm feeling the buuuuurn from the dang welding lol Took a break after the red hot wire went into my finger but I have one bracket to go
Posting pics later tonight, including the finger.

I'm a night owl or a freak lol Still looking iffy for race day Saturday due to weather but I emailed the head tech and he said it's looking ok.

One of my new wheels woohoo looks so good on the car

Then the red hot poker finger, not that bad but still hurt a little.

Those rims kick A$$
Just need the front ones now and I'm going to step up to some 28's in the back instead of 26's.

Seems like the weather man might be full of it. Called for rain all day today and it never came so might be a good chance of going to the track tomorrow night
