my time, i need more power?
went to the track for the first time and put out some good time, maybe
car spec
stock carbed 350 with 882 head cheapo header and catback no cat 2"1/2
700r4 shift kit(manual) super servo/zpack stall 2200-2500 no lock up
4.11 posi

did five run one with my dad the other alone

i would think that you should be getting a better time then that. My formula that i used to have was....

headmen headers, flowmaster exhaust. i managed a 13.99 out of it with stock gears which i believe were 3.23. i as well had a 1.98 60ft.

Your dad must be heavy. He's worth .3 ET. The car is consistent. Get those reaction times into the .0xx range all the time and you could win a few bracket races.
You need some better heads for more power. What rpm are you shifting at. What rpm are you crossing the finish line at?

shifting at about 5000-5500rpm and crossing the line at 5000rpm but i dont know my power band realy but i think I got power from 1500-4500rpm next time ill try shifting at 4500
yea my dad is heavy about 250lbs but he havent race a 1/4 since de 70's so i counld say no

If your only running it to 4500 then the 4.11's are a little much. Other than that not really that bad, depending on what you are calling "stock". Not too bad overall though. Have you done any tuning yet?
