my first Auto-X

i just went to my first auto-x yesterday and i had a blast. The bad thing was that it was hosted by the windy city miata club so the cones were set up for miatas(go-karts haha) there were onyl three cars with V8's there, me, an ls1 gto and an 80 something oldsmobile delta88(haha). the fastest time of the dya was a 47.7xx set by a BMW M roadster and my best time was a 52.774 out of 6 laps with my first being a 56.xx so i was happy. I know i could have had better times if i made more runs too. the ls1 gto was getting 53.xx's so i am very happy with my performance. iw ill post pics and vids as soon as the WCMC gets themup on there website.

Glad you had a good time, I did my first autocross last year and had a good time, and yes I was the ONLY Camaro there.

Autocross

I love going to autocross, our club went to a dirt track one month, that was a BLAST. i have a friend that runs IMCA modifieds, and i used rear tires off of his racecar for that, it was pretty sweet. My club must be wierd, we're almost all correct wheel drive with a v8. lol. glad you had fun.
