13.1 quarter

Got a best of 13.1 quarter mile tonight at 111mph and 4.56 0-60. Was on an open back road with the g-tech. Out of 4 runs starting at 14.1, 13.8, 13.7 then the 13.1. Had to feather the throttle out of the hole because of traction issues(spins them pretty easy). These are my first runs ever trying to time myself. I know it is an easy 12 sec. car, just need to spend a little more time practicing with it.
Is this a good time for a first timer. Mods are lt1, portmatched heads and intake, unknown cam, 1 5/8" headers, 3" hooker cat-back, CAI,kumho 711 ecsta street tires, and 3.27 posi rear. Car probably wont see much more road time this year and have a few minor plans for it this winter. Thanks Darrell

You got that right. Get some traction and you will be deep into the 12's. It just takes practise.
