Sold my old Speed Demon 750 last week to a friend and ordered up an 850 Mighty Demon. That didn't get here till Friday afternoon and 24 hours later, I'd be headed to the race track. So I put the carb on Friday night and got it fired and running just enough to drive it the next day around the block. Got to the track and made a baseline run, 12.97 @ 103 mph with a 1.76 60' the whole run it was popping out the exhaust Best run of the night was a 12.59 @ 107.7 mph with a 1.82 60' but managed a 108.1 mph the next run. Ran into a huge lean spot at the wack of the throttle, it was a bad squirter shooting where it shouldn't have been. Not a bad night since I knew I'd be constantly changing stuff around, had fun

What did it run last time out with the Speed Demon?

12.30 @ 108 and I think the 60' was in the 1.7x range. That night was the first night I had the 28x9 tires. I'm going to change both squirters to the tube style and start messing with pump cams again like I did with the other carb.
