What should I run?

1984 Trans Am
355- worked heads, 1.6 roller rockers, Edelbrock Torquer manifold, Holly 600, Hedman shorties, small cam forgot the specs, lift is around 420, accel hei super coil, cap and rotor, 300+ wires, 5-speed, posi 3.73's, no a/c...

Also Im looking into some new aluminum heads, wich ones would give me some good torque numbers.. Im looking for a real flat curve.. Thanks

Re: What should I run?

carb is too small, intake is wrong, rest looks alright, but the cam is small side as well

what is the casting number on the heads? If I had to guess it would be 13s-14s

Re: What should I run?

cam and carb should be alright, there both on the small side, but you can take that torker intake and throw it in the garbage. If I had to guess, I'd say 14.2-14.8's depending on how good you can lanch, and how good you can shift. Good luck, and have fun!!

Re: What should I run?

ditch it and get a performer RPM air-gap, along with a 650/750 holley double pumper. Along with whatever heads you have and a cam matched to it and it'll run a lot quicker.

Re: What should I run?

no the 3310 is a vacuum secondary carb and is not performance orientated, save that carb for a tow vehicle or motor home. You want a 4150 double pumper and the performer RPM air-gap intake. I like the comp XE lineup and lunati voodoo lineup, but it depends on your heads which you can't seem to answer that question either.
