just an 14.87 93,6mph stock gta good or bad??

Hello im from sweden... i just tested my GTA-89 at the strip today and don`t know if it`s good or bad?? The car is almost stock, 3" catback, dualcat (n10 option) thats it. I ran 14.87 and 93.9mph, 60feet at 2,27, and 1/8mile was 9,57 and 74.1 mph. It was kind of slippry and my tires are not that good but i was wondering about the trap speed...has some of my horses died since 1989... Is this good or bad times?? what do you guys with stock engines run?

Is this a 305 or 350 car. That 60' is hurting you, 94mph should get you closer to 14.5 if you can really hook the launch, like a 2.0-1.9 60'. You might expect if you dropped your 60' to a 2.0 at least a 14.5-14.6. Whats the stock timing advance at, if you haven't check it in a while, find out, you can usually dial the initial up quite a bit for a little extra ump, just keep an ear out for pinging. Most people get away with 10-12 degree's of initial advance with stock PCM tuning, maybe less if its really hot out, or you're running some crappy fuel.

what was the weather like and what is your altitude above sealevel? those can really change your times

but so far that doesnt seem too bad of a time for a old L98 car. i'd like to see abit more mph with the catback mods but depends on the weather and altitude. if your in a higher altitude area with some hot air, that car may go low 14's at 97 down where i'm from in the somewhat mild air
