Guestimates

I was just wondering how my 88 camaro is going to do once i get it together. I bought it for 600 dollars so if it's a little mismatched it's all good. But anyway, I wanna get the most out of this thing that I can so if somethings wrong just let me know how to improve it.

The engine is a 350 bored to 355 with a comp cam and World SR Torquer heads topped off with an edelbrock performer rpm and demon 750.Don't know the exact specs on either but the lift is around 490 on the cam. The tranny is a 350 with a shift kit and a stall matched to the cam. 3.73 posi rear, Battary to hatch relocation, Everything behind the front seats gutted, SFC's, Hedman shorties, and a Moroso fuel cooler. Also there will be no cats but I can't decide if I want single or dual exhaust.

I bought this car with everything Except the heads. I don't know much about carbs or if the 750 is too big. If so, let me know.

I'm probably leaving out some valuable information and if I am just slap me in the back of the head and tell me what you need. This is a very hurried post. Cant let my boss catch me. lol

first the 750 is too big, but use it anyway , you got it. i would guess high 13's if it hooks ok, should be a fun ride though

Re: Guestimates

I was kinda hoping for low 13's. What carb should I go with?

Also I got some more info. The heads are the 67cc and the converter is an 11" breakaway.

This setup with edelbrock heads went 12.30's in a monte carlo. I know the torquers aren't as good as edelbrocks but I didn't figure it'd be that big of a difference.
