14.23@101.90 ?????
spun real bad, went through 3 gears smokin them down the track, had to get out of it in first just to get going and try to straighten out, 60ft of 2.31, 5yr old street tires, didnt have time to get the slicks on, then at the top of the track, it got real squirly on me side to side then hard right towards the center line, but i stayed with it, not really sure why it got like that at the top of the track. next run trying to do a good burnout to try to get the tires to hook up, shifted into third and the damn fuel pump took a sh*t. had to be pushed out of the water box, hopefully it will be ready for next weekend, with the slicks!!!

def. need to get that 60 foots down, a decent burnout with some smoke should be good enough for slicks. also make sure you posi is working because you will hardly hook with only one tire trying to move. you got to try different pressures and dont try to launch as hard at first rpm wise. Its alot harder to launch with manual tranny IMO.

Re: 14.23@101.90 ?????
unfortunately didnt have the slicks, spun bad proven in my 60fts. the tires are my street tires from over 5 years ago, they look brand new still since i dont really drive the car, but they must be real hard, little dry rot on the sidewalls, manual valve body trans, never been down the 1/4 before. its definatley a wierd feeling going sideways through first, second, and then when you get it into third, it kicked out again with some tire spin, then real squirly. it was still fun amd hopefully there will be a new fuel pump here soon and ill have the bigger springs on so i can fit the slicks under there for next week. posi was def working with how sideways i got!!
