I just got a new edlebrock fuel pump(electric) part #1791 from my buddy and I was wondering how others routed their fuel systems? Not sure how I'm going to put it in so I'm looking for suggestons.

sump the tank, run a filter, then the pump close to the tank, and run a line up to the front for the regulator.

mine is completely redone. Sumped fuel cell with -12an lines to a Magnafuel Prostar 500 pump, then -10an feed to the 13202 regulator on the pass side, and a -10 return. -8an from the regulator to the carb
What do you mean by sump the tank? I know its a newb question. I have only had to do filter swaps and Mechanical pump swaps so this new electric setup is like spanish to me.

www.jegs.com and type in "sump" you'll see what it looks like.
Yeah I looked it up after I posted. No heres a dumb question... I have my engine out and I was going to put energy suspension motor mount inserts in. How do I get the top half off the mount? It has 3 bolts going down into the K-member but they just spin and dont loosen?

you have to drop the a-arms and remove them there. It's a bolt and a nut.
How hard is it to drop the a-arm? I've never done this before but it's all comming together slowly but surely.

i didnt have to remove the a-arms but you do have to have 2 people. Remove the front wheels and you can get to the nuts with an extension and a universal. Have some one up top with an impact and it goes pretty quick. Make sure that you mark exactly where the mounts are because they are slotted and it will be a pain in the neck to get everything to line back up if you dont.

i have pipe bushing welded in my factory tank, i got 1/2" pipe bushings from home depot and ground off all the galvanizing off of them. and ran a 1/2" to a #10 90 fitting to a stainless steel filter.
