is their a ihra rule about door bar location. i know that the bar that runs between the main hoop cant be 6 inches above or below the drivers shoulders (where the shoulder straps on a 5pt harness would attach) but is there a rule about door bar location? i think i remember seeing something about it somewhere and i searched but couldnt get anything.

 

The door bar must pass between your shoulder and elbow.

oh ok good, because i sat the door boor in the position between my elbow and shoulders with my hands on the wheel and their was no way i was gonna get in and out of that thing at 6ft and 280 lbs lol thanxs again

 

I slide over an X door bar. When I had a stock steering wheel with tilt, it wasn't too bad. When I stripped it down into a non tilt column, I couldn't get in or out. A removable steering wheel solved the problem.

 

geez, how big are you stephen, i dont think my head could slide in their lol. id have to roll my window down and "bo duke" that bad boy.

 

The window net comes down when I'm not in the car
