Any problems extending a rev limiter box wiring?

I have the MSD ajustable rev limiter box, it is too short on the wiring and i want to extend it 2 foot to remote mount it further, would that be a problem with its function?

No problem that I know of, as long as you use the same size wire.

i called msd there response was if you need to splice use thicker wire.

this has no affect on any implied warranty.

Re: Any problems extending a rev limiter box wiring?

I had to extend mine about 5' and i used same size wire as they come with, just be sure to get a good solder joint for maximum conductuity. Worst case scenario, it's off by 100rpm or so. I've had mine this way for 5 yrs and it's still going strong.
