Another 1/4 mile estimate
Should I atleast be able to hit 14's with this combo?
I bought the long block rebuilt 25,XXX ago and I swapped out the tbi for carb. It is a temporary motor till I finish gathering all the parts for the LS1 swap. I only paid $400 for the engine after I heard it run and then added the aftermarket.

I would be happy with anything under 14.9. My last couple of birds had lb9's and 700r4's and were running 15.4. I got this Formula and drove it for 2 days before the engine went so hopefully his engine is a decent performer.

Man, it is so cheap to build a stroker motor that will carry one of theese to 13.00, bt for some like myself that isnt enough.

This is just a temporary motor till I do the LS1 swap next year. Otherwise I would build a stroker.

Ok, Engine and tranny are in with the mods in my sig and should be running this week. Any other thoughts? I'll be swapping in some 3.73's too.

The heads/cam are going to kill you, but I would say with a decent 60ft, you could pull low 14's.

I know the cam is small but I didn't want to push these crappy heads. If I can find a good deal on heads this winter while it's in the garage I'll buy them and a bigger cam.
