A good buy???
I found this kit on Ebay, it is available also in 7.625 with a 3.73 gear for the same price. Would this be the best deal?http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Parts...=p4506.c0.m245

Re: A good buy???
That sounds like a decent price, but I wouldn't call it a deal. From summit I see gears for $150-$200, instal kits around $80, and posi should be around $400. So if you get less expensive stuff from summit you'll get the same price. Personally I would just wait and save that money for a 9 inch/ dana 60/ 12 bolt, although I did make my 10 bolt nice before switching over. Just depends on if you have the will and way to wait to build up a couple grand for a strong axle or if you want it now for $600 while being a weak link.

Re: A good buy???
Thanks for the suggestions, I checked with Moser Engineering and they offer a 9" housing and axle package for $985.00. They are a direct fit and the third members are very easy to find around here. I have a friend that unfortunatly races rustangs and he has 4 he keeps around in various ratio's.
