Hoping for 11's this weekend
Last time I raced I ran a 12.53 in June. It was 80 out, I had my 2800 converter instead of a 3500 which I have right now. I also relocated the battery to the trunk for better traction, and will remove the front sway bar, because thats what everyone has been telling me. Anyone want to guess what I might run this weekend. By the way the temp there should be in the 50's.

Looks like your car's 60ft's are very good for the e.t that you are running. To try and gain half a second with a few little mods.....I dunno. I'm curious though.

I'm guessing your going to need at least another 5 mph to get there. For comparision My 108 got me 12.38, but I was also cutting 1.69 short times. What did your incrementals look like? I know that I am flat from the 60-330. If I could get the 330 #'s in line with my 60 I should have been 12.000.

Re: Hoping for 11's this weekend
I was very pleased with the results this weekend. I ran only 3 times. The first I ran a 12.9 107mph, the second I ran a 12.6 at 110 and the third 12.03 at 106. The last one I cut a 1.59 60 foot and had the front left tire 8 inches off the ground. It was humming. I guess if I stayed there longer it would of worked out, but my tranny would not let me go into 1. I started out in 2 and the computer shifted me from 1st to 2nd at 4500 rpm. So I know I could easily get into the 11's. Right now I do have the stock intake on, which is restricting me.
I also weighed my car its 3350 without me.

Yeah it was weird. When I trapped at 110 I was stunned at only a 12.6

i think you were having problems on the big end to only gain 16mph...running out of fuel or something....that was on an 11.8 pass with a 7.5 660' time.

Re: Hoping for 11's this weekend
I was having problems with the shifter. It would not let me put it into 1st gear, so instead I left in 2 so it automatically shifted from 1st to 2nd at 4500 instead of what I shift it at which is 5700

Re: Hoping for 11's this weekend
that would show weird 330' times, not weird times on the big end...106mph is down on power big time versus your 110mph pass previous in the night...
Re: Hoping for 11's this weekend
Agreed, something just ain't right. Congrats on getting the car to leave harder, that is the main factor that improved your ET's IMO.
