Have a spare line lock. Put it on the hydraulic clutch line. depress clutch flip switch. and when light goes green release switch to drop clutch. just a thought.

would it be too much of a shock on the clutch? or release too slow?

Re: Would this work? Just a thought
good question.....Pressure shouldn't be an issue and no real different than guys who "side-step" the clutch. Now just have to find out if that T5 will hold up to the shock load...... Re: Would this work? Just a thought
What would be cool is if you could use a progressive controller... Like nitrous controllers.. Of course you would probably have to burn up a clutch to get release perfect..
Re: Would this work? Just a thought
That would be like side stepping the clutch.
It should work just fine. I just don't like the idea of the clutch being dumped like that. I know I come up real quick on mine, just about side stepping but not quite.
Kinda depends on where your foot would be too. If you for any reason the tires lost traction or the car started to go sideways your foot is already on the clutch and you can go back down to regain traction, or to regain control of the car and hopefully finish your pass.
