New guy ??? about setups

I have an 85 camaro with a 305 (for now) and i am thinking about taking it to the track occasionaly but car will mainly be on the street. ? is what do you guys suggest for rear susspension setups....

I was thinking tourque arm and maybe control arms. i will be putting in some lakewoods prob 50/50 rears and 70/30 fronts.

Also what brands do you guys like dislike. Any help would be great I am new to the car stuff so this is the reason for asking.

Thanks in advance
Kev

if it's just a 305 i'd get a pair of slicks and lower control arms that are adjustable and some relocation brackets and call it a day.

Put in some sub frame connectors. Even slow third gens need them.
