New engine finally done and in

Not much too different, ported AFR 195's that now flow 320 at .650 - though MIni ram will still restrict to 283 so more to come on that. Either porting or single plane.. On winter tear down car had 6 broken valve springs, and sheared a link bar bolt turning lifter sideways and had 4 bent intake valves.. Suspect they had been broke for a while an floating a good bit, pretty impressed in still ran 11.0 N/A and 10.08 on spray..
Now heads picked up 30 cfm we will se what happens now, not sure how soon I will spray, or race for that fact, have to break in the spec3 clutch for 500 miles... Last time I just took straight to track for break in, and that worked great, but spec is adament that I lost significant life by doing that.. I am not sure, the car lasted through 3 years of 6-7k launches and lots a street abuse.
New cam to, went with an ultradyne cam - a little more at .050 and some more lift with less overall duration than previous cam, tightened lobe up from 112 to 110 also. Much more valve spring pressure to, about 200 seat and 550 over nose. Would rather not so much for s treet car, we will see how that holds up.

Yeah, going about 7 years on same valve springs was probably not my best choice for a solid roller, then spraying a lot on the last year. - years just fly by anymore.

Good to hear its together man. I was wondering what was up with you and that motor. Hope to see it out this year sometime, if i get a chance to get home to race a night you race.

Motor should pick up. Abit more cam, alot more head, I think it will run pretty strong. Intake situation would be interesting, but I dont know if the miniram will hold it back that much. Single plane would still need to be ported to have a chance to feed 320 cfm heads. I wish I would have had mine ported before installing it but boost is a different story
