Just curious, I know peak g's are much higher than sustained g's.
The average stock thirdgen pulled between .8 and .9 g's, but what does that translate to in terms of peak g's during an autocross?
And are g's higher when breaking traction, or right at the sustained limit they're measured at on the skidpad?
Just curious... always wondered and pulling 1 lateral g in a car is on my bucket list anyway lol.

The .80 to .90 figure is a steady state number, which is how magazines typically test.
Peak is going to be higher - others can elaborate on that...
