third gen mixes it up with BMW's
So for my son's graduation present from high school i let him take my 87 to open track day with my local BMW club. he's never been on the track with a car before. Done lots of motocross and the likes....Had a great timerunning down much more expensive cars! He was the youngest one there ( 18) driving the oldest car! check out the video he took from a go-pro.....he made and edited the movie....not me

yeah the kid did good.....his instructor advanced him up to the intermedaite level for his next outting! The car held up great too...

I will be mixing it with M3's at cadwell Park UK next week as well but I tell you they will be a hell of a lot quicker than those and will probably have me and the IROC well beaten!! I will post some incar after the event.

My car has the Lt-1 from a 92 corvette........just a set of SLP headers, air foil, k&n airfilters.........so it's pretty stock, but after driving it with the 305 for years, it FEELS fast.....as for the other guys in their BMW's, .....well that was a NOVICE class....so you've got guys with VERY expensive FAST cars......that were probably just too scared to drive them any faster......... my son, like me, loves to drive fast....on the track that is.....
