New Best 9.45 @ 146, 6 speed and drove home - Video inside

Ventured out to Cecil county Maryland for last shot at greatness.. Just replaced 13 year old Nitrous solenoid that I suspected had been restricting due to swollen seals. Turns out it was..

First pass out at 9:30am Total wheel spin, letting off in first and almost losing in 4th near big end ran 9.71 @ 146

Got a warning for not having all correct gear - and was told to keep it in the 10s..
Well next pass after some heat in track it hooked decent with a 1.39 - I had to stay in it at that point to get my new best of 9.45 @ 146..

Was able to coax him into letting me run again being he was not fully aware of the rules..

Spun pretty bad pulling a 1.47 60ft and ran the 9.50 @ 146 for video - Nedless to say they were having no more of me and sent me on my way..
Some good represntation of my shifting as well..

So on way home obtained a horrible shake, look in mirror to see trailer wheel ready to fly off.. Broke all studs I am assuming loose lugs maybe the cause.. Had to remove car and drive the remaining 60 miles or so home on my new slicks.....

I hate leaving ET on the table.. I missed a lot of this season - I am thankful to have an understanding wife of my obsession..
My goals this year were to hit 10.4 on motor and 9.6 on spray, I later figured out I could get 10.2s out of motor and 9.4s on spray - I was able to get the 9.4s - However better launch I am in the 9.3s sooo...... Next year now maybe..

I need the top hoop and dash bars, net, certified..

Thank you! Lol... I was glad that video showed me shifting like I can when I'm on.. I hope to trap 150+ someday - Chutes look sexy on the street!

You sprayin off the line?
No.. Using delay timer with 60% on initial.

This makes me want a clutch that much more now, just tough to justify it with me doing so much index and bracket classes.

I run a McLeod Scatter Shield Heavy as hell! Tanner ran 8.95 on tons of spray with a Soft Lok.. Nice car, but he seems a little arrogant.. Almost like he's a celebrity or something... Strong combo for sure though..
Still miss that thirdgen a lot though.. Boffa them...

I did well a few times bracket racing with, but surely a lot a variables... Seems easier to hit a good light, Gotta come out conservative, deal with a little bog and know the car of course.. I am not sure I would wish a clutch on anyone though...lol..

we use a tripod. i need the camera dead still, otherwise i can't see anything, lol. she does a great job, but even the best videographers will jump sometimes when a car explodes off the line.

NICE! - Looks like the shocks & tubes are helping control the tire a lot more.

Unfortunately not enough. They did help no doubt, but still wadding tire the spinning. Gonna try to get 10" rims under back this winter to help also. But more control now for sure.
