Had the perfect setup. Stopped at a light just before a long stretch of 55mph two lane highway. I was in the left lane with my 88 5.7L GTA, he was in the right with his 96ish black Mustang Cobra. Leave it up to an econobox to pull out of the side road into the right lane about a second before the light turned green. I still punched it, got an excellent launch with only the slightest bit of tire slip. The Cobra got buried in traffic as the vehicle behind me were faster then the car he got stuck behind. Not the way I wanted it to turn out, even if I was destined to lose.
