The 60' times are killing you you need to try a lower launch RPM. You must be sping the crap out of your tires. Other than that I'm new to these cars and dont know alot about the TBI cars. My mods and times are in my Sig. I run 2.1X 60's.

i see you have an afpr on the car. what kind of pressure are you running. the car needs about 11psi, 12 at the most.
also is the car an auto or a stick. in stock form you want to launch at no more than 1k rpm. the torque curves comes up very quick in our cars (peaks around 2k) so starting further below it will help your 60's.
drag racing is all done at the tree and in the first sixty feet. if you want to maod you car work on traction and gearing and then look for power.

Whoh I missed that. You have a TBI "Ultimate TBI mods" and are running 60 PSI fuel pressure? It's amazing the injectors haven't locked up. Try bringing it down to 15 PSI max. 40-60 PSI is for multiport TPI fuel systems. It needs that much pressure to feed 8 injectors and 60 is probably way too high for that also.

The 2.5xx tell me you have a bad traction problem. That will effect ET. You might be about to get into the 16's with better traction.
The 77.xx mph is a result in HP. It's consistant with your previous runs. It's also very low for a third gen. When you do any changes to the car, watch the mph. It will indicate whether the changes increased or decreased HP.

you might want to start by checking your timing. I am not sure what the TBI cars like to run at but a normal carborated small block likes around 32-38 total timing. you might start off by setting your initial timing at 12 and going from there. the more you advance it the more lowend you will get (to a point of course). Pull your plugs and see what color they are. If they are black then you are, you want them to be a light brown color or even a white. You can mess with you plug gap and try different heat ranges also to pick up some time but by the sound of things and your MPH you have a problem somewhere. How old is the motor? Is it burning any oil?
