cutting coils and weight transfer
Hey guys. One of the kindest members of thirdgen sent me his front V6 springs free of charge, but before I put them in I have some questions.
I thought the V6 springs would help me in weight transfer because I already have some worn out struts, so I figure I can use this economical setup until I have the money to spend on drag springs and 90/10 struts
But I also read that the V6 won't necessarily lower the vehicle either, so I wanted to cut a coil off to lower the front end a bit because with the skinnies there's too much room between the tire/fender now.
What's the safest/smartest way to cut a coil?
Thanks.
