Quite a few Skylines, Sylvias, and RX7s are reported to run 11s and quicker...some Skylines are in the 9s. That sounds about right considering some of these cars are putting out about 530 horses on up. A few Skylines around here are pushing over 900...daily drivers with full interior too.
Oh yeah, forgot to mention I live in Japan right now.
It's funny how the locals don't even waste their time trying to soup up a Honda. You'll never see one at the street races here...only the big boys with the serious hardware run out here.

i've seen afew 13 sec ricers around here in Milwaukee. I've also seen an 11sec 3000gt VR4
but, i don't consider that a *****. For all of the average civics, integras, accords, ect i'd say mid 15 to high 14s is about average around here.

I live in LA and the ones that look like they run 12s, run 15s or 16s. Then there are the ones that look stock, and when they beat you, they're cool and will talk to you. Those guys run in the 11s and 12s easy.

Man, the Skyline is a sweet machine. This guy I know has one back in my home town, Karachi. His car's pushing 400 bhp and it has trounced everything that ran against it. One of my dreams is to take a prepped Z28 back there to show him up with some good ole American muscle. Of course he's no stranger to power - he's got a huge collection of cars including a Viper and a few Corvettes, and many other muscle cars from the 60s.

Back to I guess the subject, I would have to say most of the ricers (and other grungy-lookin' heaps that think they're running NASCAR) in my area couldn't pull a 15 second slip. It seems especially in the past couple years that everyone in a car (or truck) period thinks their car is a race car, and drive them accordingly, not only alleviating all doubt they're slow, but that they can't drive their car worth a crap as well. And then folks wonder why you can't find a race on a Saturday night, hell, every cop in town has got to be on the prowl, when ya got '87 celeca's and stuff revving on C5 Corvettes at traffic lights at 5:30PM on a Wednesday afternoon in rush hour traffic. Just a thought...

well i only have an 1/8 mi track to run on and most of the ricers are somewhere in the tens. my friens 91 accord runs 10.3 which isnt bad for what it is and its a blast to drive. but thre is a vtec prelude 95 i think running 9.2 on slicks an N/A, and then there is a eclipse GSX that is capable of running 7.8 with the boost turned up all the way not sure on the extent of his mods but he usually doesnt turn the boost up all the way and he runs low eights most of the time. all these ricers are like the racers from the sixties the fastest and most serious ones dont have the flashy rides they are all about going faster not looking better. which i definetly give them props for. I know some of these guys are pretty serious about there mods, but I've mauled most "hopped up" civics I've raced on the streets with a bone stock '84 TA,190hp @ 5200 known for high 14s or low 15s. you can tell when it is a "real" car and not just some toy, those are the ones you know not to race. I saw a really cool ***** in IL, it had the coffee can, rims the whole nine yards and it was done right, the license plate read "BET-U-LUZ" it crept away from the light, modestly chirping evey single gear, without even trying.ofcourse I purposely eyeballed the car the whole time he was at the light, because I knew he would show off once the lights changed.after third gear,he just downshifted and disapeared down some country road. that is one ***** I can truly apreciate!!
