3rd Gen with T-5 and drag racing??

Are you guys still using the T-5's at the strip or have you changed over to something else. For those still using the T-5's, how are they holding up???

thanks

Im beating my T5 senseless right now. It was OK with a 120 shot and NO powershifting. Now i am putting the headers om,and adding more nitrous. Wont know till the end of Feb or beginning of march on how itll deal with the extra power.
When it does go,im going for a TKO.

I just lost mine in December behind an engine making 380 ft/lbs and 285 HP at the rear wheels. I'm saving for a T56, but its a slow process.

My T5 is still holding up well even after years on the street and probably over 100 1/4 mile passes over the last 4 years. I am on my second clutch.

my 84 Z with 305 with 230/230 .480 cam, ported heads, 10:1 CR, headers, port matched intake, flowmaster, no cat, 3.73 gears, is tearing my T5 up. It is stock but has been rebuilt before i got the car. I have never had it to the strip but shift iot pretty hard when street racing.

The synchros are just wearing out, I have to wait to shift into second gear!

i want a T56!!!!

Haven't driven mine with the blower yet, rr's, or headers.

Never had any problems before...but I have a feeling it's going to be leaving me shortly.
