91 RS vs 93 Beretta GT-Z

My friend just bought a 93 Beretta GT-Z and he claims 180horses and that he would not want to embarass me in front of my other friends which think that my car is fast.(because it is a V8). Our little car crew consists of only 8 cars the fastest being a 94 5.0 MusTANK and my being the next fastest. My friend wants to take my spot and I dont.
Who will win? I have to defend the V8 power rep!
No mods on my car he has a K&N filter thats all. Both of us have 5-spds.

you should win. My best friends friend has one and it is a real heavy car. It has 180 Horses but that qaud 4 works really really hard and sounds like it will blow up past 4500 rpm. because of the wieght of the car it is a little slugish. it is about the same wieght as ours but with 4 less cylinders so you should have no problem wining and keeping your title!

lol ask him how much torque he has probably 100ft-lbs. less that you. you got 255. I think I have 180HP-190HP with my mods listed in my sig.

got closed on the tbi board but i have raced a friends beretta when i first bought my car he was in a racing crew and i killed him on cruise night in front of one of the other racing crews and i am an automatic. They are sluggish cars we raced twice they always claim something goes wrong when they get beat bad but i had no problem and his car was already modded a lil and i was stock. I think the chinese letters he put on his car slowed him down!
