Check my signature for info on my car. It says I have auburn posi. I do, but it's not installed yet. So my rear is OPEN.

The roads here are dry.
I went through a puddle while exiting Red Lobster . I drove down the road a little then gunned it in 2nd gear. My car started going no where while RPMs were rising. Was this because my tires were a little wet? Do I have to much hp for street tires to be doing this? Is it because of the open rear I have?

What can I do to prevent this?? Any suspension mods?
I really do not want to wreck my car again...

It's the open rear! If it is not 100% dry my car does this on the 1-2 shift every time,and I have a 9 bolt posi.

yea its because of the rearend and the fact that it was slightly wet. change to a posi and it shouldnt spin as much but it will probrably still spin. on a wet road.TINFY
