what should i be running?

my times are in my sig. but should i be running faster? my mph 92.5 is greater than most of the people running 14.5's i know my 2.4 60ft doesn't help. the car grips and bogs horribly. i have 3.08 gears. what can i do to get better 60 ft times? all my launches were done around 3000rpms and a dump start. i tried 3500-4000 and it broke em loose and went every way but straight. how should i launch this car?
i feel that i should be running a 14.8 with the 92.5 mph. i live in oklahoma and the track i go to is about 1200 ft above sea level
thanks for the help

this might help a little....not too long ago I kept getting paired up with an '88 IROC 305/5-speed at the local track and his best time was 15.2@88mph. His car was bone stock (from air cleaner to exhaust). My dad was taping us from the stands and i can see him smoking the tires off the line every single time. Maybe if you didnt rev so high at the start you would hook better. Try 2000 or 2500 rpms. I launch at 1500 with my 700R4 and my best was 15.3@88 with no tirespin, so with you should do a little better than me with your mods. I'm guessin 15.0 or very high 14's if you can hook.

If you cut a 2.0 sixty foot you'll have your 14.8 at least. Which is about right for 92 mph.

try to ride the clutch out at 3000 or more RPM while not letting the tires spin but still hard on the gas.....Itll be kinda hard on the clutch but thats what a lot of manual racers do. the trick is to keep the R's up and tire spin down.
