if my car would hook....
based on MPH of 102.7,AND hooking,what do you guys think it would ET at?My AMX runs simalar MPH but it does 1.8 60's and only weighs around 2880 lbs.Best 60 ft i could manage in the Z is a 2.16 feathering the throttle for the first 30-40 ft.Did some more tuning and got MPH up 101 to 102.7,but still just died on the 60's.

I was running high 13.20 - low 13.30's at 102 in my 82 Z28. I had a totally stock suspension (even the front sway bar intact) on MT Sportsman Pros, and I was pulling low 1.90 60' times. I did pull a 1.88 only once, but it usually was around 1.91-1.93 If you get it hooking, you will definetly be in the low 13's. Since you some suspension mods,You may even be able to manage high 12's. 60' time is everything when getting a good ET. Proof of that is the fact that a great hooking, good weight transferring car with a LOT less HP than you can get 13.80's Get some good tires and she'll be rollin'!!

yeah,if the tires never try to hook,the lift bars never get a chance to work
