biggest rim and tire question
Ok i was orginally planning to run 18 by 14's on the back but i have a couple questions
1. can anybody tell me if these rims would fit in the rear with mini tubbing.
2. who makes ultra high performance tires for straightline performance in this size
thanks dave.

18" tall by 14" wide tires or rims?
18" rims are only good for racing like road course. They'll offer very little sidewall so tire roll is reduced to nill for cornering.
14" wide won't fit without some major sheetmetal fabrication.
You can't minitub a third gen. The rear subframe is out too far and the rear springs would need to be relocated.
What kind of racing are you intending on doing? 18" rims are show car rims not performance rims unless you're driving a Cart car.
