A big 'thanks' to TallTim for showing up and taking away the "lonely 3rd gen" blues. It was cool to have him and his bird come play. He did very well, especially for a first timer! Kicked my butt he did, best time was 2-3 below mine. Of course, he didn't hang around for day two... haha!

Much! Thanks Luis. The first day I was out on the concrete at Station1 with TallTim for heat one, 3 hours or so. When I came off the concrete I could hardly walk let alone drive, this is my excuse for TallTim besting me anyway, hahaha. Day 2 I ran in heat 1, so my times were way better... hard to drive well when you are in pain, LOL.

Anyway, I'm off the cane and doing much better!

 

Hey Mad had a blast thanks for the invite. Now I'm hooked and will be at Deland on the 27th. Sorry you can't make it. Will hopefully have the LS1 brakes in by then. I found another auto-X at Homestead south of Miami but they don't seem organized like your central FL SOLO group. How about getting together again before it gets hot!
