First time down the 1/4 lb9/700r camaro
Met up with Matt Walter and a few other members this weekend at MIR to hang out and make some passes. I brought my 92 z28 was my first time going down the 1/4 since all of my local tracks are 1/8th only. I managed to squeak out a 14.48@95.11mph 2.066 60' and a 14.46@94.75mph 2.057 60'. I was pretty happy given the car is a lb9/700r non g92 car only real mods are catback and suspension work with advanced timing. Got 20.5mpg making the 200mile drive to the track and racing and 25.5mpg going home. Over all a good day. Also on the way to the track the car rolled over to 263,000miles lol

Way to go Screaming, I remember what that was like driving to S.I.R. 250 miles in the same car you are going to race. Fingers crossed hoping nothing breaks not knowing how you will get home. Now it has been renamed to Pacific raceway, might get back there one day.

I was happy with it for sure. Going to do some tuning soon and play with the fuel psi maybe upgrade my filters and see if I can do any better. Kinda at the extent of the mods I want to do to this car I use it as a daily and I've got a 5.3/80e waiting for it lol. Car still has the spare and jack in the back all air tubes and smog pump intact pretty much what it came with is what it has. Weighed it before with me in the 3650lb range with it being low on gas.

In a way I wish I would have ran my car more with the 2.73s I went to the track once with 2.73s on drag radials but it was an 1/8th track I was pulling 2.0 60' best time was 9.8@70mph BUT it was 105deg that day and da was in the 4500 range. Only mods since then has been 3.42s aluminum drums and bumped the base timing from the then 8deg to 12deg.
