First Passes with 5.3/t56 swap [VIDEO]
Went to Capitol Raceway this weekend for the M-U-L-L-E-T Militia meet. Got my first passes in with my 5.3/t56 swapped Trans Am. Was a hard day from the start for sure. Got the car off the trailer and had no brakes so we bled them multiple times finally got them OK and ended up running 4 passes. Best pass was my first pass ever in the car and with a stick car down the strip ran a 12.81@114mph 1.9 60' . Ran a 15.8 with spinning on the limiter in first and second then cruising in 3rd then two 12.9 passes one @111mph and another 114mph 2.0 and 2.1 60'. The posi in the 10 bolt kept peg legging and the nittos just wouldnt hold however it was a very cold day.Ended up losing my brakes again pretty sure the master cyl has failed. Then on the ride home got in an accident and banged up my tow rig pretty bad so its been a long rough weekend. thankfully i got some passes had a little fun and no one got hurt!
BIG THANKS to Matt Walter for coming to the rescue and getting me and my wife our friend and my car and trailer home safely!!! Stand up guy.

I like the flags at the starting line. Quick and easy way to see which way the wind is blowing.
Once you get your brake problem sorted out, pop the trans in neutral after you cross the finish line and use the brakes to slow yourself down. It's a lot easier on the rods.

nice run, the rollout at the bottom end there is better than what our local track offers on a test n tune.
