Re: It crazy

Yea but had a fun day at the track anyway. Car went 7.55 in first tt. After dark second tt went 7.50. First round I put 7.49 on the dial. I went .520 on the tree ran dead on with a 4 lifting a few feet out. second round I went down a number on the dial and went .533 and ran a 7.51 running out the back door. I couldn catch the other car. He went .506 on the tree and ran 3 off. Oh well thats racing. The kid I beat first rd bought back and took home the big check. Car mph was 95 all day. Had fun first time runnin 1/8th mile and man it happens alot faster! You got makin decisions early.

What kind of 60' times? Seems like you should be low 7's with that kind of MPH.

Re: It crazy

yea I kno. I built the car to run 12.0 and I didn put a cage in it. well brought it to the track and It ran some 11.4x. that's 32 degree timing shiftin at 5k. so now that I have a little more timin in it it will run under that 11.49 every pass. so now that I have a 5600 rev limiter in shift at 4750 and leave at 2k it will run mid 11.5 to 11.6 at 122mph. oh yea I only have 3.42 gear in a ten bolt. 60's are 1.78 1.79. I got one more track trip wed night then its coming apart for the cage. I bought a s&w 8 point kit. but hell I love havin the mph. im bracket racing and most of it is in the quarter so I love the 122 at 11.60. it sneaks up on a lot of cars fast.
