Just G-teched my car on a back road

Just ran my G-tech on a back road, got the same thing twice so Im kinda believing it.

I ran a 14.70 at 100.5 MPH, is that good or bad

I have 350, Edelbrock T.E.S Headers, Borla 3" Cat-back, Jet stage II chip, Airfoil, Ported/Siamesed Plenum, SLP Siamesed Runners, 2.73 limited Slip rear, Catco High Flow Cat and i think thats it

I have to questions: 1) is that a good time/speed

and 2) In the upcoming weeks I will be putting on a set of stock worked heads, hooking up my ram air, and probobly a 4th Gen 3.23 posi rear....what times and speeds do you think I can expect when thats all done. Think i can go 13.99 or lower???

well running 100+ mph you should be in the 13's
i ran a 14.11 @ 97.7 so you should be running like a 13.8 - 14.0
ohhh nevermind
gtech calculates your speed when you would cross the finish line so its a couple mph high.
are you spinning a lot or not? you would probably cut the traps at 98 or so at a dragstrip. i think you have some tuning problems you need to work out because i've got about the same stuff you have done and i have a 305 and i'm running about the same mph you would run.

I gotta re-do it tomarrow cause I was playing with my G-tech more tonight and was staging up the same way I did when I ran my 1/4's and got like a 7.42 on the 0-60 times

But then I staged up a lil different and got a 6.54, 0-60 and kept consistent give or take a tenth so I'll run my quarter with that technique and see what happens

Are your spinning your tires a lot because you should be getting better then a 6.5 0-60 more like in the mid to high 5 second range. Its all in the launch to get better times, what are your shift points at and how do you launch your car?

BTW what do you think of your SLP runners and how much more can you rev you motor?

This should be on the Drag Racing board more than here so..

I would think that engine would run a little faster than that especially since G-Tech is usually 2 tenths and 5 MPH too fast. I not sure whether u will get near 14.00's with the next mods u are doing but maybe close. What gears are in there now?? Hows traction??

I just ran it again this morning but with a diff. style launch and got a 14.56 at 100.8 this time.

The rear in it now is the stock 2.73

I know 2.73's arent for low end at all, and the little bit of intake work I have done is all for top-end...but it wouldnt leave it that un-balanced where I would have the O.K time, but a pretty good speed would it.

3.23, Ram Air, and Heads wont get me to a 14.0 or 13.99 ya dont think?

It sounds like you have no bottem end at all (your 2:73's) would do it. Other than that your making killer power uptop but any gear changes might effect your top end, you might want to try ye old comprimise gear 3:42.
BTW sweet car, what color is that?

U probably could get around 14.00's with your new mods if u can get traction since u are now running 2 tenths faster than before on the G-Tech, which must have something to do with better traction.

Bought my 3.42 posi 4th gen rear today, pick it up Saturday.

Ram Air setup should be in Tomarrow, actually it should have been on my doorstep 2 weeks ago...called them today...they'll overnight it tonight...I'll have it tomarrow.

Heads are getting done by a friend, they'll be done in a week or two.

Do you have a pic of the 4th gen spoiler on your car. How did you make that work?
