Kirkey seat install in 3rd Gen
I used the Racecraft weld in brackets but added tabs so I can connect them to the factory mounting bolts. This allowed me the get the seat as low as possible and still get a wrench on the rear mounting bolts.
I am happy with the outcome my helmet does not hit the roof anymore ( I have over 1" of clearance) and I lost 9# compared to the plastic RCI seat mounted to the OEM seat track.

Re: Kirkey seat install in 3rd Gen
I bought my seat used, and the guy had already drilled holes in the bottom of the seat to mount it, so I used that to my advantage. I ended up using 1/4 square stock and drilling three holes in the bottom to have some adjustability. These holes used the rear factory bolts and sat on there with a nut holding it down tight. I also used the front holes to made a bracket running to the front of the seat to hold it secure.
It still had a little bit of play in the seat, so I figured I would try and connect it to the roll cage somehow. I saw some ideas online that pretty much had two collars welded together and one snapped to the roll cage and the other had a pipe that went to the seat. However, I want to say they were close to $150. So I fabbed up my own since it was pretty basic
