1/4 mile for 86 T/A
1/4 mile for 86 T/A
Hear it is, my cousin has a 1984 Firebird SE with a 1986 Trans Am driveline. He wants to know what it should run in the 1/4.
I think, from what I've heard, that he has the lb9, but I'm not 100% sure (if not than what). I'm possetive he has a stock 700R-4 and I think he was told 3.73 gears.
His mods are only exhaust, with Heddman Headers, Supercats Cat, 3" Intermediate, Flowmaster 80 series Cat Back. The car has been tuned up with new plugs, wires, cap, rotar, and before we run, we will drain all the fluids and put clean stuff in.
I'm thinking that in good running condition (Don't know condition yet) it should go 15.5-16.0. What do you guys think it should run.
And on a side note, will he be able to run my car heads up, and if not what will he need to do. By next year, I'll be shooting for 14.0, expecting to be 14.5 when track opens and H-pipe goes on. Any help is appreciated.
